Down 5 pounds in two weeks.
Eff yeah.
Unfortunately, my personal trainer is moving to a brand new ~*fancy*~ gym so I gotta break in a new one.
Damn.
Planning + preparing = SUCCESS
I preped a bunch of food to go to work with me today. I planned an delicious spread including fruits, vegetables and some great prosciutto. It seemed like a lot of food when I was packing it up this morning but I ate it all and had a full dinner and came in 4 points under my target.
AWESOME!
Now to do this every day.
Update from Kat
So yeah. I totally have been neglecting this blog. How horrible of me. But I am trying to get back on track with posting now.
I’m super busy with my job. I love it so much. I love the kids I work with, I love the teachers I work with. I absolutely love what I do. Luckily, I both love my job and get paid a decent wage. So decent, in fact, that I have started to see a personal trainer. I feel like she is going to be a big help with my weight loss.
In the first 9 days of working with her, I lost 5 pounds. A lot of it was water weight etc. from my two week long binge, but I know there was some true weight loss there too. I think she’ll help me keep on track and give me a boost with exercise. Today during our session I felt like a 193 pound plate of jell-o. It sucked to do it, but I never would have done those things or pushed myself as hard if I was working alone.
I’m excited to keep working with her and I feel like she’ll keep me accountable.
Hopefully I’ll be able to be more accountable to you all too. I feel really crummy not posting but I am going to try to post more often even though I am so busy all the time.
Sorry I’ve disappeared all
I’ve had a really hard time adjusting to living healthier and working. So far, all I’ve really been doing is working. My diet and exercise has pretty much fallen to the wayside. It sucks, but I only have myself to blame.
So, the plan is to go back to Weight Watchers basics, and get some exercise in. The good/bad thing about my job is that the commute home in the afternoon is awful. Luckily, my office is right next to a 24 hour fitness. I joined the gym Wednesday. My plan is to go to the gym directly after work to kill time while waiting for the traffic to become less awful. They have a pool, which is what I primarily intend to do. I also got wrangled into 3 personal training sessions, which should be helpful because I can’t make myself lift weights. I think its boring as hell. But if I pay someone to make me do something, I’m going to make the most of my money lol.
Unfortunately, I won’t be able to hit the gym again til October 3. I have training for work in San Diego next week and they’re putting me up in a hotel and providing most of my meals. I do intend to use the hotel gym or run outside and try to eat as well as possible from what they provide. Its a bit of a tricky situation, but I’ve gotta work with what I’m given.
